  1. Hi Jameel and all,

My name is Nick Demske. I work at the Racine Public Library and am responsible for some of the programming we do and I was just interested in sitting down with one or two of you sometime soon, if possible, to discuss some opportunities to collaborate. I wasn't sure the best way to get a hold of anyone so I figure this is as good as any. Get in touch whenever you have a second and I'd love to arrange a time to sit down together from there. My e-mail is nick.demske@racinelibrary.info
Thanks a lot. Look forward to hearing from you,
    Nick

  5. Hi clcfellowship, and thanks for bringing me back to the VOICE. I loved writing for Rev. Norma Carter's paper (she worked so hard to make it-her son Roy too). I'm not sure which column you saw. I must have written several dozen over those couple of years. As is the case with a lot of community based newpapers, advertising dollars needed to keep it going just weren't consistent. I'm very supportive of efforts like the VOICE, as I think people's voices need to be heard. Unfortunately I don't think there is an archive available, but for the now yellowed copies of the paper I have on a shelf, and a floppy disk I may have in a drawer. Rev. Carter may have something more.
